About the winery
The Tenuta Wiegner is located on the slopes of Mount Etna in Passopisciaro, in Contrada Rampante and Contrada Marchesa, at an elevation of 750 meters above sea level. Grapes are cultivated with respect for the territory, and organic wine is produced. By combining passion and expertise in the vineyards, wines are produced on volcanic soil, vinifying native grapes like Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, and Carricante, as well as some non-native varieties such as Fiano, Aglianico, and Cabernet Franc.
