About the winery
An ancient palmento at the foot of Mount Etna, located in the municipality of Castiglione di Sicilia, in the hamlet of Rovittello, has been patiently restored and brought back to life by the Fischetti family, with the aim of reviving its original charm. The adjoining vineyard lies at approximately 650 meters above sea level. Its traditional alberello (bush) training system allows for exclusive manual cultivation throughout the entire year. Our vineyard is composed exclusively of native Etnean grape varieties, with an average age of 80 years and many century-old, pre-phylloxera vines. From these, we produce our Etna D.O.C. wines. Taste and quality are our motto in one of the most beautiful territories in the world, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2013. Our mission has always been to make the most of what this land offers, aiming to provide a profound experience of the very concept of Etna D.O.C. — something memorable, not just a fleeting pleasure, but a true fragment of the volcano itself to be admired.
