Every experience begins with a conversation.

The people behind your Etna

The Team

Four people. One territory.

Alessandra

Experience Design & Guest Relations

Every detail you don't have to think about is a detail I've already taken care of.

Alessandra is the person you will hear from first — and the one who will stay closest throughout your experience. She listens carefully, asks the right questions and translates your expectations into a day that feels entirely your own. Every itinerary that leaves this team has passed through her hands. Her attention to detail and her warmth are the reasons guests leave feeling genuinely looked after.

Guglielmo

Territory & Producer Relations

I know these producers personally. That changes everything about the doors we can open for you.

For three years, Guglielmo led the Consorzio Etna DOC — the governing body of Etna wine. During that time, he built direct relationships with every producer on the volcano. He does not know Etna's wine scene from the outside. He helped shape it. That knowledge is the foundation on which every winery selection we make is built.

Roberto

Volcano & Territory Knowledge

The road that gets you there is part of the experience. I know every one of them.

Roberto has walked every slope of Etna. He knows its roads, its contradas, its hidden paths and its seasonal rhythms with a precision that no guidebook can replicate. When we design a route — whether for a wine experience or a walk on the volcano — it is Roberto's knowledge of the physical territory that makes it coherent, safe and genuinely immersive.

Matteo

Wine Knowledge & Experience Design

A well-designed day is one where nothing feels arranged. That takes a lot of arranging.

Matteo combines deep wine expertise with a precise eye for how an experience is structured and felt. He knows the producers, understands their wines and thinks carefully about how a day should flow — from the first visit to the last conversation at a cellar table. His role is to ensure that what we design is not just logistically sound, but genuinely worth living.

Etna Wine Experience was built on one simple conviction: the right experience is never the most obvious one.

It is the one designed around you — by people who know this territory not as a destination, but as a daily presence.

We are a small team of four. Each of us brings a different relationship with Etna, its producers and its wines — and together, we cover every dimension of what makes an experience here genuinely meaningful.

Because we believe that the right experience does not just show you a place. It changes the way you understand it.

If you would like to know more about how we work —or simply begin a conversation — we are here.

A unique sensory experience

Drink the volcano

Dive into Mount Etna's volcanic landscape through a wine tour offering an unmatched sensory journey. Taste the local wines' power and elegance, crafted in a unique environment enriched by minerals from the volcanic soil.

Mineral-rich volcanic soils, dramatic altitude shifts and 37 microclimates shape wines of remarkable elegance. Each slope tells its own story — from the deep, ancestral character of the north to the salty mineral notes of the east.

What makes Etna special

A territory unlike any other

Volcanic soils

Black lava sand, ash and pumice give Etna wines their unmistakable mineral signature and bright tension.

Old vines

Many vineyards still cultivate ungrafted, century-old Nerello Mascalese and Carricante vines — a rarity in modern viticulture.

Altitude & microclimates

From 400 to over 1000 meters, Etna's slopes offer a patchwork of 37 microclimates and 133 contradas.

Family producers

From historic estates to small family wineries, every visit is a chance to meet the people behind the bottle.
