About the winery
Pietradolce was founded in 2005 and is located in Solicchiata, a hamlet of the town of Castiglione di Sicilia, on the northern slope of Mount Etna. The company covers an area of 11 hectares between 600 and 900 meters above sea level. We have chosen to cultivate only native Etna grape varieties, Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio and Carricante, mostly grown in the traditional bush vine form. A love for our land as great as the respect we have for it: the heart of our philosophy. The ability to make the most of the richness of tradition combined with the wise use of the most modern wine-making techniques, in respect of the environment, gives life to our passion: the wines of Etna.
