About the winery
The vineyards of Eredi Di Maio fall within the territory of the DOC Etna. The age of the vines varies from 10 to 120 years, trained as a sapling, on terraces supported by dry lava stone walls. Winegrowers since 1867, our history begins thanks to great-grandfather Santo Di Maio, who returned from Argentina, continues the cultivation of the family vineyards expanding both the production and the area. Promiscuous vineyards of Carricante and Nerello Mascalese that escaped to phylloxera end 800. The same vineyards, from which it all began, are today under our management.
