About the winery
Cantine Murgo is located on the slopes of Mount Etna, in the eastern part of Sicily, Italy. The winery has a long history of wine production that dates back to the 1800s. Today, the winery is run by the fourth generation of the Murgo family who continue to produce high-quality wines with respect for tradition and innovation. The vineyards of Murgo Winery are located at an altitude of 500-800 meters above sea level, with a total of 30 hectares of vineyards that are cultivated with local and international grape varieties such as Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Syrah.
